Make the Switch

Our “Make the Switch” campaign advocates for reusable menstrual products through the free provision and education.

The campaign aims to address the environmental impact of traditional menstrual products like pads and tampons, which often end up in landfills and contribute to pollution, while also tackling the stigma around reusable menstrual products and dispelling myths. Switching to reusable menstrual products can also save thousands of pounds over a menstruators lifetime, and as the main concern menstruators have about reusables tends to be their upfront costs, but us providing these products for free we help remove these barriers.

“Make the Switch” encourages individuals to transition from disposable menstrual products to eco-friendly alternatives such as menstrual cups, reusable pads, and period underwear. We provide these products for free to schools and community organisations, while also speaking to service users about their benefits and how to use them.

Through educational workshops, social media campaigns, and community outreach programs, Freedom4Girls provides information and resources to empower people to make informed choices about their menstrual health.
