Vote For Us This International Women’s Day in the My Favourite Voucher Codes Charity Poll

This March, we’re delighted to have been invited to take part in the charity poll on My Favourite Voucher Codes, a Bath based website that helps their users to save money while raising funds for charity. We’re up for winning 20% of the site’s profits, and we need your help!

My Favourite Voucher Codes isn’t just your average voucher code site – they’re also passionate about raising money for good causes. Since they started in 2012, they’ve raised over £60,000 for different charities, supporting causes from mental health to animal welfare. Every month, they host a charity poll, where four organisations compete for votes in a little friendly competition. Visitors to the site can vote for free, and at the end of the month, the charity with the most votes wins 20% of the site’s profits. In honour of International Women’s Day this March, Freedom4Girls have been invited to take part as one of the four charities.

The site is home to thousands of voucher codes, offers and discounts from some of the biggest retailers in the UK, including Boots, Amazon, Waitrose and more. They offer savings on every aspect of online shopping, from the weekly grocery shop to health and beauty products. Every time a user makes a purchase through the site, these retailers pay a small commission at no extra cost to the consumer. It’s through this that the monthly charity donation is formed, so the more codes used, the bigger the donation.  How You Can Support Freedom4Girls This March From the 1st of March, you can cast your vote for Freedom4Girls. Simply head over to My Favourite Voucher Codes where you’ll find the poll on the right of the homepage. Select your chosen charity from the list and click the red button to confirm your vote, and that’s it! You can have your say in less than two minutes and you’ve no need to make a purchase through the site to get involved. Voting is open until the 31st March, so be sure to have your say in plenty of time!  While it’s completely free to vote in the poll, any purchases made throughout March will go towards the donation that we’re up for winning, so it’s worth bearing this in mind if you have any online shopping to do! Even if you can’t find a discount code for your chosen retailer, clicking through the site’s links will ensure that your purchase still contributes towards the donation, all at no extra cost to you. Be sure to share this with your friends too, as not only will you be spreading the word about the discounts on offer, you’ll also be helping us to drum up further support.  Every month My Favourite Voucher Codes support a whole new line-up of charities, so every single time you shop via the site you’ll be helping good causes. What’s not to love? Please cast your vote for Freedom4Girls this March by clicking the link below and help us continue tackling period poverty in the UK and across Africa. Thank you.

Unsurprisingly, we’ve made the decision to cancel our sewing workshops until further notice. However, if any of our volunteers would like to continue sewing at home, we’ll happily provide fabric, templates etc for you to do so. Please send us a message or drop us an email for more info ( Our upcoming trips to Kenya and Uganda will almost certainly need to be postponed, so we’re taking this as an opportunity to build up a good supply of period packs for later in the year!

We are also aware that the current levels of panic-buying have left many shelves empty of period products. If you’re in need, please let us know and we will help you. We will be restricting supplies to 1 or 2 packs per person, and if you can normally afford to buy products, we ask that you give us a small donation so that we can replenish our supplies once things calm down a bit. Over the next week we hope to establish pick-up points so that we aren’t inundated with requests, so watch this space!

In these uncertain times we are as determined as ever to ensure that everyone has access to safe period products and will continue to provide those in need throughout the Leeds area to the best of our ability.

Stay strong and safe,

The F4G team x
